Guests help parents prepare the nursery as part of the baby shower. Advise guests to give decorative pieces for the nursery as their baby shower gifts. The gifts are placed in the nursery as part of the shower.

Preparation:
Ask the parents-to-be how they plan on decorating their baby's nursery. Find out what bedding, furniture, nic-nacs and other accessories will be needed for their nursery. Take note, and make a mini "baby nursery registry" on guests' invitations. Have guests report which gifts they intend to give to avoid duplication.

Variations:
Most retailers who do bridal registries will also do baby shower registries. Have the parents-to-be complete the registration, and indicate on invitations the places they're registered.
