This idea is to have a guests record what gifts are given.
It might be easy to remember who gave the tie-died onesie. But other gifts might not be so easy to remember. Your shower needs a gift recorder!
The Idea:
Before the shower, a guest is designated to record each gift and who it was from. The honoree uses the list when sending out thank-you notices. And the gift list will make a great remembrance of the shower!
Should the gift-giver's address be unknown, the gift recorder can secure their mailing address during the shower. The honoree will be very grateful when sending out the thank-you notices!
Preparation:
A hostess will need to designate one guest as the gift recorder and supply them with pen and paper.
Variations:
For those video taping their baby shower, the gift list can be creating by reviewing the tape after the party.
